Hofmann's LSD is best understood as a 'sacred drug' rather than a psychiatric tool

Partially Confirmed recorded as “Gaining Clinical Support” LSD: My Problem Child

Clinical evidence supports the 'mechanism through sacred/mystical experience' hypothesis: MEQ30 scores predict outcomes, mystical experience quality mediates therapeutic benefit. But 'sacred' remains outside clinical vocabulary. The developer describes its synthetic psilocybin as 'a drug with psychedelic properties.' The phenomenological claim (it works through a quality of experience humans have called sacred) is supported; the ontological claim (it is sacred) is not clinically testable.
