Mystical experience quality predicts therapeutic outcomes better than drug dose alone

Partially Confirmed recorded as “Supported by Correlations” LSD: My Problem Child

Reported across several conditions and institutions as a correlation. Barrett & Griffiths (2018): MEQ30 score predicts sustained benefit in depression, AUD, end-of-life anxiety. Gukasyan et al. (2022): MEQ-outcome association persists at 12 months. Whether Phase 3 psilocybin data show the same pattern has not been checked (Source not found; under review). Correlation within trials does not show that the experience causes the benefit; that question is debated.
